Club Atlético de Madrid and Fulham FC have both been overshadowed by more fashionable neighbours, but it was the Spanish side who made the most of their moment in the spotlight.
The picture in Hamburg is more LS Lowry than Pablo Picasso, but it will take more than grey skies and unsympathetic employers to dampen the atmosphere ahead of tonight's UEFA Europa League final.
The top scorer prize for the inaugural UEFA Europa League has been shared between Werder Bremen's Claudio Pizarro and Óscar Cardozo of SL Benfica, the pair finishing with nine goals apiece.
